After several years working in the construction and development industry, Ilham Taufiq and Bram Gumilang, two friends living in Bali took a leap of faith and started their own business in February 2016. They bought a single-family home in Canggu, tore it down and built their first house. This project set the company (registered as PT Pilar Mandala Perkasa) on a path that has seen the construction and renovation of over 100 properties, including dozens of new homes in the greater Canggu areas.
Ilham & Bram realized early on that they could not accomplish the company’s goals without assembling a strong team and creating a business built on client happiness. They also understood that their team must treat each other (and their clients) with respect, honesty, and sincerity. Today, that team has the expertise and vision to lead their clients through the entire building process as true partners. Mandala team likes to be involved as early as possible in the planning process. Whether working on the design or acting as a construction consultant with the client’s architect or designer, Mandala Property works as a team. They help determine feasibility and collaborate on developing and working together on the budget.

The Team
Ilham Taufiq
Ilham actively engages in the day-to-day operations of the company and ensures everything works at the highest level while seeking for innovative solutions to conduct business more efficiently. In addition, Ilham builds alliances with property entities, professionals and suppliers in the area.
He is involved in all aspects of the development process, with his keen eye for design sensibilities and an instinctive understanding of how to execute successful development projects.
In addition to his executional knowledge, Ilham is a natural leader who excels in teamwork and management, always working to ensure successful results for his enthusiastic and motivated team.
Ilham is a proud graduate of Universitas Riau. He currently lives in Denpasar with his wife and daughter.
Bram Gumilang
Bram is responsible for overseeing the entire operations as well as the breadth of development-related process for the company.
With technology as his passion and problem solving as his forte, Bram enjoys the challenge of the demanding day-to-day decisions he is faced. He views his role as an important one which not only helps the company function, but also excels at using technology as a tool that improves overall effectiveness and efficiency.
Bram is also experienced in development for a wide range of properties, with a particular emphasis on urban development projects. He brings the creativity, practicality and market insight necessary to succeed in complex development scenarios. His extensive background in technology, business strategy and development give him leverage to better understand the field.
Bram has lived in Jakarta, Amsterdam and Perth before residing in Bali. He graduated from Inholland University of Applied Sciences. Outside of the work he loves, Bram enjoys surfing and traveling.

As we progress deeper into our first decade at Mandala Property, we realize that we could not accomplish this great task without the strong team that we have assembled.
